Welcome to Qiang Shi's Research Group!

We are building a dynamic research group developing advanced theoretical and computational methods for quantum dynamics in condensed-phase systems. Our research integrates concepts from physical chemistry, condensed matter physics, and quantum information science to understand fundamental chemical and physical processes.

Our current research spans open quantum systems, excited-state dynamics, theoretical spectroscopy, nonadiabatic charge and energy transfer, and quantum information science, with applications ranging from molecular spectroscopy and light–matter interactions to charge transport, and quantum technologies.

We welcome enthusiastic graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and collaborators who are interested in developing new quantum dynamics methods and applying them to challenging problems in chemistry, physics, and quantum information. For more details, please visit the Research section.
